New tricks...

Sunday started out with Mark making waffles. Harrison wanted to see what he was doing. So, he climbed onto the kitchen counter. Effortlessly. That's right, yes, you read that right. Just hoisted himself right up onto the kitchen counter.

He hasn't done this before and we were a bit shocked, but managed to just help him back down, look at each other and have our eyes bug out of our heads, and go on about the morning. Just to prove it wasn't a fluke, he did it again later that morning. Good times are in store here for us! I guess when you take a tall kid who likes to climb and has good arm strength and pair him with a fierce determination to get what he wants, this is what you get. Jealous?

Not to be outdone, Barrett has started his workout regime. After Harrison finished impressing us with his mad climbing skills, Barrett had to show off too. He now does "baby planks" throughout the day. Check it out...he is a strong little guy!

Look at that perfect form!!!

Just doing a little ab work so I can keep up with my brother.

Working out is fun!

Oh yes, another thing...the tongue. Barrett has recently discovered his tongue and LOVES to stick it out as far as it will go. He does this all the time now and really just makes us laugh. He also makes the people at the grocery store, Target, etc. laugh too since everyone now seems to notice he is doing this.

Such a happy boy :-)
